What is an eSIM?

A digital SIM. Instead of inserting a plastic card you scan a QR code and the profile installs on the phone. Your home SIM stays where it is — the eSIM is a second line, for data.

Will my phone work?

Most phones released from 2019 onward: iPhone XR/XS and later, Pixel 3 and later, Galaxy S20 and later, and many others. The phone must also be carrier-unlocked. Use our check before buying — if it is not compatible, we do not let you pay.

What does "unlimited" actually mean?

Almost every unlimited plan on the market has a fair-use policy: full speed up to a daily amount, usually 3 GB, then reduced — typically to 1 Mbps — until the counter resets 24 hours after activation. Messaging, maps and browsing still work. High-quality video does not. We write that number on the plan card, before you buy.

When should I buy and install?

Buy and install before you travel, on home Wi-Fi. Installing needs internet — which is exactly what you do not have on landing. The plan only starts counting when you activate it at your destination.

Do I need internet to install?

To install, yes. To activate and use it at your destination, no. That is why we say install before you fly.

Can I make calls?

The plans are data. You keep calling over WhatsApp, FaceTime and similar. Your home number stays reachable for SMS if you keep that SIM in the phone — but turn its data roaming off.

What if it does not work?

If the eSIM does not activate, you get a full refund. That is the guarantee. Contact us with your order number.

I lost the email with the QR code.

It is not lost. Your order page holds the QR code, the manual installation details and the remaining data, and you can have the link resent at any time using the email you bought with.

Can I reuse the eSIM on another trip?

Once the plan period ends the profile expires. For a new trip you buy a new plan — or top up before the current one runs out, where the destination allows it.

Which payment methods do you take?

Cards, in a secure hosted checkout. We are evaluating local payment methods and will list them at checkout when they are live. We do not promise what we cannot yet deliver.
