About

A shop with one argument.

We sell travel eSIMs. So do a lot of people. What we do differently is print the number that decides whether a plan is good value on the plan itself, before you pay.

What we actually are

A reseller. We buy wholesale data from an aggregator, which buys from carriers in each country, and we sell it with a margin on top. We do not operate a network anywhere, and coverage and speed are whatever the underlying carrier provides. Where the supplier tells us which carriers those are, they are named on the destination page; where it does not, we write that instead of guessing.

Why the price per gigabyte is on every row

Because it is the number that decides the purchase and almost nobody prints it. A 20 GB plan is not automatically better value than a 10 GB one — on 40 of our destinations it is worse — and you cannot see that from a price and a size without doing arithmetic at the moment you are least inclined to.

No daily cap, and what that costs you

Every plan is a fixed bundle. The whole allowance runs at full speed, nothing is throttled part-way through a day, and when it is gone it is gone. That is better than a throttled unlimited plan in most cases and worse in one: a throttled plan cannot strand you. If you cannot predict your usage, buy from someone who sells that instead.

What we have not got

The company behind the site is S12V Labs LLC, registered in Wyoming, United States — small, and named because a shop that takes your money should say who is taking it. What we still have not got: a body of customer reviews, because the shop is new, and years of track record. We would rather say that than dress it up.

Who runs it

One person, part-time, with a lot of the work automated. That is a real limitation: support is email, in Portuguese and English, answered by a human but not instantly. It is also why the site is built the way it is — everything that can be generated from the price feed is, so that the numbers cannot go stale while somebody is asleep.

The plans, with the size, the validity and the rate on every row.
