Will you hit the daily cap?
Other calculators add up the gigabytes for a whole trip. That was the right question when plans were sold by the gigabyte. Almost all of them are now “unlimited” per day — and the only thing that can go wrong is going over the daily cap. That is what this works out.
These are deliberately unflattering estimates — better to overshoot than to leave you offline on a street corner. High-quality video is what changes everything: one hour of it costs more than a whole day of maps and messages combined.
